MediaOne Academy is not only a centre of academic excellence but also of expertise in audio/video production, research activities and outreach projects. It takes up projects and produces audio-video programmes related to social, cultural, political, educational and environmental issues to shape social consciousness. These projects also enhance the competence and generate resources for the institute, faculty and students.

MediaOne Academy occasionally produces video programmes on science related seminars, events, important research activities and profiles of reputed scientific organisations in the state. The students of the media school take part in the production of these videos.
